The Western Cass Fire Protection District has been mismanaged for more than a decade due to poor management of the Board and their failure to properly ensure that YOUR tax money is being managed properly to provide you with the first responder services you expect and deserve.
On April 6th, 2022 there were two new board members elected to the Western Cass Fire Protection Board, John E. Webb and Martha (Marty) Hardman. There was great hope that they would honor their oath of office and the Missouri Constitution they agreed to when they signed up for office.
Sadly, their actions in the few short months they have taken office, there has been malfeasance 361.290 RSMo, attempted nepotism MO Const art VII § 6, and gross mismanagement of the District's operations with improper handling of meetings, records and taxpayer funds creates the perfect storm for embezzlement, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer funds. There has also been an intentional pattern of behavior to circumvent the requirements of the Missouri Sunshine Law, chapter 610, RSMo.
