Most citizens who live in the District are aware that the Western Cass Fire Protection District has been plagued with problems for more years than they can remember. However, there has been increasing concerns with the recent addition of John E. Webb and Martha (Marty) Hardman to the board.

There are numerous citizens from the District who have expressed concerns about what is happening with the recent additions to Western Cass Fire Protection District board.  There have been threats directed at some members of the public attending open meetings and an intentional effort to muffle the public.  Therefor, out of respect for their privacy and concerns for their safety, we will be leaving it to those citizens to speak out as they feel comfortable doing so.
